Welcome!
I hope this site provides a helpful introduction to my work as a scholar and teacher. Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). I earned a B.A. in anthropology from Radford University (Radford, Virginia) in 2001 and a Ph.D. in anthropology from Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan) in 2007. Check out my Curriculum Vitae for more details.
As a professor at Miami, I teach and mentor students in cultural and linguistic anthropology, ethnography, religion, U.S. cultural diversity, and transnationalism. As a scholar, I work primarily in the anthropology of Christianity and the interdisciplinary study of material religion.
